Laura Aikman comes in as Charlotte, new girlfriend to rapist Andrew (Ioan Gruffudd) in the dramatic climax of Liar. Character Laura played by Joanne Froggatt who has been raped by Andrew tries to warn her off. A second series has been suggested to shoot in 2019.
